Faith & Wellbeing

Therapy that respects your faith

For many people, faith is central to how they understand themselves, their relationships, and their purpose. Christian marriage counselling and faith-sensitive therapy provides support that honours these values without pathologising belief or pushing a purely secular framework.

We work with couples and individuals navigating relationship challenges, marriage difficulties, family conflict, and personal struggles from within a faith context.

Our approach is respectful, non-judgmental, and informed by both therapeutic best practice and an understanding of Christian values and community life.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do we both need to be Christian to access this service?

No. This service is designed for couples where faith is meaningful — whether one or both partners are Christian. What matters is that faith and values are part of the context you want to bring into the room.

Will faith be integrated into every session, or only when we want it to be?

Your therapist will follow your lead. Faith can be woven through the work as much or as little as you find helpful. Some couples want it explicitly present throughout; others want it available as a reference point when relevant. There's no single way to do this.

My partner and I have different levels of faith. Can you still work with us?

Yes. Differing faith commitments within a couple is actually a topic many Christian couples navigate. Your therapist can hold space for both of your perspectives without taking sides or pushing a particular religious position.

Is this therapy or pastoral care?

It's therapy — provided by a trained, registered therapist who understands and respects the Christian faith context. It's not a substitute for pastoral care or spiritual direction, but it can complement those relationships well.
