Who This Is For

Therapy for every kind of relationship

Couples therapy at Bloom is for any two (or more) people committed to each other, married, partnered, dating, or co-parenting. We welcome all relationship structures, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

You don't need to be in crisis to benefit. Many couples come to us wanting to communicate more effectively, deepen their connection, or navigate a challenging life transition like a new baby, blended family, or loss.

We also offer individual therapy to support partners working through their own experiences within the relationship.

  • Intimacy and connection concerns
  • Preparing for marriage or a new life stage

  • Cultural or values differences
  • Managing stress, parenting, and life pressure

FAQ

Common questions

Do both partners need to attend?

Yes, couples therapy works best when both partners participate. In some cases, individual sessions may complement couples work, which your therapist can discuss with you.

Is couples therapy just for people in crisis?

Not at all. Many couples seek therapy to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, or navigate a life transition, not only when things feel broken.

Do you work with LGBTIQI+ couples?

Absolutely. We are fully LGBTIQI+ affirming and welcome all relationship structures, orientations, and gender identities.

How long does couples therapy take?

This varies depending on your goals and the complexity of the issues you're navigating. Most couples attend between 6 and 20 sessions.
