About Talia
Therapeutic approach
Dr Talia Hashworth is the Clinical Lead at Bloom Well-Being and a Clinical Psychologist with 14 years' experience across the mental health sector. She completed her Master of Clinical Psychology and PhD at the University of Wollongong, NSW. Her research focused on borderline personality disorder, locus of control, attachment, and the impact of traumatic experiences, particularly in childhood.
She is an Accredited EMDR Therapy Consultant through EMDRAA and has extensive experience in supervision, consultation, and training with clinicians. In addition to EMDR Therapy, her work also integrates approaches such as Schema Therapy, DBT, ACT, Parts Work, and neurodiversity-affirming practice.
Her areas of interest include trauma, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and personality vulnerabilities. She works from a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and diversity-affirming lens, with a strong focus on relational connection and creating environments where both clients and clinicians feel supported and understood.
At Bloom, her role focuses on supporting and supervising the clinical team, strengthening team culture, and maintaining strong clinical foundations across the service. She brings a collaborative, reflective, and practical approach to leadership, and is passionate about fostering confidence, connection, and clinical excellence in clinicians' work.
